Our Story
The journey of Bakre Foods began during the lockdown, when Mr. Bakre, a proud Marathi man with a deep love for his culture, decided to turn his hobby into a business. Starting from his own kitchen, he laid the foundation for what is now a bustling 400+ sq. ft. workshop in operation, employing a team of four dedicated staff members. From humble beginnings, producing just 50 kg of flour per month, we now consistently churn out a minimum of 100 kg a day across various categories.
Our Products
Specializing in a wide variety of authentic Maharashtrian flours, Bakre Foods offers everything from traditional Thalpeeth Bhajani and Kanik for chapatis to modern, health-conscious options like Multigrain Atta. Our product range includes 18 different types of flours, including Besan (lentil flour), rice flour, fasting-specific flours, and much more, catering to a wide array of culinary needs.

At Bakre Foods, we take immense pride in using only premium-quality ingredients. Our production process is backed by a commitment to quality, hygiene, and the well-being of our staff. We operate a specialized workshop equipped with a giant Kadhai for roasting ingredients and four distinct types of flour mills designed for specific flours. For instance, a separate mill is dedicated to fasting flour, while a stone-based mill handles chapati flour, ensuring the best quality and texture.

With a growing customer base of over 1500, Bakre Foods stands as a testament to Mr. Bakre’s vision of blending tradition with modern business practices, all while staying true to the roots of authentic Maharashtrian cuisine.
